- Degree of traffic from online-visitors who previously find your products or services attractive.
- Improved visibility of your site in the upcoming time.
- In general, search-engine-optimization intends to perk-up not only your site's quality, but over and above your on site rate alterations.

Internet Marketing is broader than the term “SEO” and is simply promoting sites for ultimate visibility.

SEO marketing is subset of Internet marketing.
Online marketing is about promoting your products and services on different sources no matter they are free or paid. It includes
- SEM
- SMM
- PPC
- SMO
- E-mail marketing
- Affiliate marketing

SEO marketing is about promoting your website to the search engines for free. SEO marketing gets your traffic from search engines only.

I guess you mean SEM as Internet marketing. If I am right, SEM includes all kind of online marketing including SEO tactics, PPC, Social marketing etc.

I think there is not so much difference between them.Both are equal, we can say PPC, Forums, Article submission, Directory, classified as internet marketing or SEO marketing.

The difference between SEO and Internet marketing is the same as comparing night and day. Both are synonymous of each other, but both are as different as different can be. However, as synonymous as they are and as different as they are, one cannot be without the other, the more focus you have on SEO the less focus you will have on the latter…and that can spell failure for your success online as we shall see.
The difference between SEO and Internet marketing for anyone new to this platform might not see the obvious difference at first, but given time to understand and learn how to market effectively here you will. Both of these has in and of itself a whole unique learning curve that needs to be learned and applied to your efforts online…without both your future of success online most likely will not happen.
