Finding relevant forums

hi folks,

when you have a new SEO-project - what are your most preferred methods to find new forums to post relevant threads and get high quality backlinks?

Do you search via Google "inurl-parameter" (etc.) or do you have any links, where you find relevant forums?

I have a simple trick for finding relevant websites, blogs, discussion boards. Simply Google for relevant keyword e.g. "online marketing". You will get the list of websites related to online marketing. This contains the list of blogs and article sites which contains keyword "online marketing".

I do also work with parameters within Google.

if you want to find a list of travel forum then just type travel forum or list of travel forums and you can find plenty of results.

You can't beat this method ( as all pages you enter are indexed by google ).
Also this is another method that I use "Do you search via Google "inurl-parameter" (etc.) or do you have any links, where you find relevant forums?"

Another method,
You can use Google's discussion tab for finding relevant forum.

Or you may use 'Keyword Country' for finding your niche related forums.

I think Google's Discussion tab would be fine and it will help to find good and related results.
