A good widget to monetize website traffic

There is a nice monetization Social Deal Map widget on widgetbox gallery which display Groupon and other social deals on a local map. The widget detect the GEO IP location of the reader so that the map is always centered at the reader's location. You can monetize your site by configuring the widget with your own affiliation id and display it on your site. These deals are usually quite attractive with huge discount. It give your reader update on daily deals. Website owner should be able to generate good revenue from it.

What does widget stand for? I get what you are asking but i am curious why it is called that? Couldn't it be at tool or something?

I think such widgets should be used to generate good amount of traffic to your website. Getting right amount of traffic to your website is a need of the day. This will really help to increase the conversion on your website.
