How to increase traffic?

Hello Guys,

I have a free classified site Targro.com. I've been constantly adding new features & update this website regularly but I don't know how can I get more traffic and earning in my website.

Please advice me what can I do.

You need to advertise your business,be there where people are spending most of their time like Facebook ,Digg,business boards,etc..participate in categories,bookmark relevant sites,share your knowledge.Use adwords..that will give faster results but be careful of your budget.Have informative ,unique and fresh content on your site often,give freebies like ebook containing your ad on the pages which can further be distributed .I know its easy talking however you need to have patience.Its a slow process but it will have long term result.

First of all business should be introduce,SEO is the best ways to promote traffic. Forum posting, blog commenting are the techniques.

I do not see any problems with your web site. Just start using all the tools and methods of your SEO strategy, I suppose you as an owner of the we site know about them and have some.

Free classifieds have several advantages- they are easy to write and thus less time consuming. You just have to make sure that the headline is impressive, and write a catchy and attractive ad copy.

Be careful with adsense...don't do what I did and get yourself banned. I started an account without really knowing what I was doing and unwittingly broke lots of rules. Now I'm banned, even though I emailed them explaining that I didn't know what I was doing and that I would be really careful in future.
Make sure you read the advertising policy BEFORE you place any ads.

Firstly research your keywords and the competition surrounding them, then you have to start link building for those keywords and in time it will create traffic and if you keep at it then that traffic will get bigger and bigger each month.

There are many ways of increasing traffic of any website the main way is to join some discussion places like forums, forum is good place really what you need to do is to participate regularly.

This is not a new question anymore. As other members said, you should build backlinks for your site to help it rank with several relevant keywords. Then you can drive traffic for the site. Work with social networking sites, blogs, articles, press releases, forums.... As my experience, you can write blogs and articles then submit them into social networking sites. It can somehow help drive traffic also.

Many people spend a lot of money getting a launch their site with strong advertising campaigns. This shouldn't be a setback, however,any money.

I agree. Social Book marking, Article posting with unique content, forum posting will help you in the best way to generate traffic to your site..
