Hi CarolK

Well you could sign up to ClickBank and get your product listed there, it's free and it has a lot of people looking for affiliate ideas. There is also Commission Junction but I have no experience with this site, maybe somebody else on this forum can give more of an idea on this.

Good Luck with your venture.

Bertie

AffiliateSeeking will become famous soon enough
You can use affiliate software to start your own affiliate program if you have not already done so. There is a list of affiliate softwares listed on this site that can be found in the top nav menu.

If you don't want to run your own affiliate program, then the better choice would be to let an affiliate network take care of it for you and they would already have an affiliate base, which is good.

Hi Carolk!

If you are not interested in the hassle of beginning your own affiliate program, you should definitely begin researching the affiliate networks in the market space. I know there are a lot so look for the one that has the qualities you are looking for.

Quality traffic, strong compliancy and valued partnerships are some great characteristics to look for in addition to highest payouts, exclusive offers, etc.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck!

Best,

Clickbooth B

I am an affiliate member to Genbucks, Clickbank, Commission Junction etc., I cannot run them properly because my site traffic is poor. So Iam always thinking of getting more people to visit my site.

Clickbank is a great place to start, especially for beginners. It takes care of all the hassles and puts you in front of tons of affiliates.

It all depends on which kind of product you are promoting. For example, I'm a Genbucks affiliate and I' don't have a right to sell their herbal supplements on Ebay. Because as an affiliate I can't ship the products myself. And I can't post a link to my co-branded store on Ebay, which would make a direct sale possible.

If you have obtained a digital product which had with private label rights (so that you are free to resell it on your own), you can sell it on Ebay. It won't contradict their TOS.

Are you sure those are affiliates? It's more likely that MN guys themselves sell their products via Ebay and other auctions.

Why do you think they can't sell their products themselves too? Otherwise how can the affiliates ship the products? Well, i tried to open an account on Ebay once ... And yes, because I saw somebody was selling some herbal products there which are usually promoted by affiliates. I wanted to find out if I could find an idea to promote Genbucks products there too. Never tried to sell anything on Ebay before.

I thought there should have been a option like at yahoo shopping, to pay when somebody clicks on a link in the listing and then visits the site. Or some other option. There wasn't. So i didn't complete the registration and closed a page.

I got a message from Ebay in less than 30 minutes. "Ebay Abuse!!!... you are banned forever" ...but you can send us copies of all your documents by fax and we'll reconsider your case. " Very unprofessional and rude of them.

Well, who cares. I explained them the situation politely and told them they could even close my account, ban my ip, my name etc. I'm not going to sell anything there at my life. But seems no one is reading the emails they receive. In a week they replied me again the same thing about fax...

You can try it yourself. Just let us know if there will be a positive outcome.

Good luck
