How long do you spend with marketing each day?

Just curious how long you spend on advertising/marketing/building links each day to your websites.

I spend about 1 hr on average I would say. But that's quite low because I normally do it one or two days a wk where I would do a 5 to 8 hrs straight shift.

For my own websites, I spend about 3-5 hours per day. I do SEO so I am doing this the whole day for my clients' websites.

I think this really depends on what type of link building tactics you are focused on. Writing or blogging may take longer hours while updating social networking sites and adding friends is shorter.

There are many ways to get better marketing and it can be done through various ways like, running PPC campaigns and web promotion through social media sites which can be helpful.

I spent 5 hours to promote my site and rest of 5 hours I research for new marketing tools and campaign planning tools..Since the search engine companies change their products every week, you can imagine that it is nearly impossible to stick on one technique or tool that would do everything..

Depends on the stage where I was. If it is an upgrade link, then the 1 hour a day is enough. If it's a new campaign and then for 4 hours a day ...

Me too. I just think this is the right attitude to do something, no matter what you want to do, just put all your energy to it, then you will be more opt to succeed. So I just do it whenever I have time. Hope I can be succeed soon.

Unfortunately we do not have energy for everything, I have 3 sites, 2 blogs and it is really tough to fight them all, and I need to devote some time to my family 8)

So I believe that throwing all energy is not so good after all, it is better to make it smart.
