How to increase traffic to social bookmarking website?

Ok i started my own social bookmarking website, and i even paid for, my website to be submitted to 105 other bookmarking website, but still nothing my traffic and users are staying the same, my website i started is can someone please recommend any type of advertising, thanks.

Well, you can set up a forum and to invite visitors to chat on the forum. Also you can chat on forums yourself and build links to your site on diferent social bookmarking sites.

You should advertise it just like any other website!

Concentrate in keywords like "free backlinks" etc. How about writing articles about it? (you can even hire someone to do so), YT movies? corporation with other websites owners? There are many possibilities out there, all you have to do is build a well-organized strategy and stick to it (do you wish to focus on SEO?- what hat? is it bringing traffic from referral websites that you are after?

Just something I had in mind- there are many websites that gathers all big social bookmarking network (socialmarker.com and similars). Maybe you should offer them to insert your website into their data in exchange for their users don't have to sign-up in your website etc.

Just a tip- make sure that all of your in-page optimization is correct, it will be much easier for search engines to index your website.
