What is image optimization?
I want to know about the process of image optimization. Sometimes Google search engine shows images in own search engine pages. Anyone give me best tips for image promotion.

Image optimization has to do with always putting in the right ALT texts and also giving your picture the right name. As including alt tags in images is like showing search engine bots the name of image.

Image optimization makes your website indexed when some one searching images for a particular keyword. Will drive you a descent traffic. It is good to optimize your images when you generate your pages since it is also helpful for general SEO purpose but not only for image engines. For image optimization, I think contextual, page title are also important besides the alt attribute.

Image optimization helps your website to get indexed when someone searches image for a specific keyword. It will drive decent amount of traffic to your website.

If you do not optimize images then it may cost you money and traffic.
You must be thinking. How?Think if you have loaded heavy images which require more storage space and bandwidth. So more the space you occupy...more you need to pay.

I'm a happy searcher, because after the Google Image samples, the first result listed is the Puppy Linux website, which is the only Puppy I would ever be searching for online. Most search providers keep track of what websites people will actually visit after doing a search.

Image optimization is all about calculation image to alt tags. Image can be an effectual SEO source. If a site encloses too many images, one can add alt tags in images using keywords in alt tags.

You must give your picture a name with ALT text in your editor and download the image in your server. Is the best way to optimize.

Yes I agree with this...placing your keyword in the alt tag has a high value in search engine...

Image Alts can help you receiving good traffic but always keep in mind that over optimization using Image alts always penalizes Websites, so always remember the spam factor, try to make image alts more descriptive rather then just stuffing them with keywords.

Google can't read the images so we use "alt" attribute to tell the crawler what about image.
