Question Question-I need advice

Hi guys, I need advice from you: basically I was thinking of opening forum on my page and I want it to be Signatures dofollow only forum, where people can come, register and leave their html signature without any problem. Now, my question is - can this harm my page or my future rank?

Don't worry about that. If you look around you can see that the top forums allow signatures. In fact, it is very important to allow them if you start a new forum. There are many forums where people can learn. And if some of them offer a backlink as a bonus why they should to post to the forums which don't offer this bonus?

i think it can affect your sites, some spammers may use their signature for their purpose

I am aware that if I allow promoting and do follow html links + do follow signatures in the forum I will also get a lot of spamming on my site, but I hope I will be able to control and do not allow page links which appoints to bad WebPages (porn gambling etc), but as I said – I hope, because I don't have experience at all in “forming”…

To avoid spamming from dofollow forum you wil have to control all the posts by checking them before make them visible... like in this forum, every time i want to post something it should be approved by moderator..

Yes it would be a hard work so better to build a team first and make it rule to allow discussion only related to the topic, no "Thanks" or such kind of posts allow.

Regards!

If you are looking for Signatures dofollow only forum, It will not affect your Rank and as a modulator you can control spamming but it will increase your work at the same time.

Don't worry about that.
New websites often find it difficult to get targeted traffic unless they have a large advertising budget. Posting in relevant forums which allow links in signatures is one of the best ways to get visitors who are really interested in your product, service or information provided at your website.

There many large forums listed at Big Boards, many of them have more than 50,000 members. Most of these large forums do not allow signature posting. Some of the large forums that allow signature posting are listed

I wouldn't really worry about it. Don't forget the more pages you get on your site will result in more pages getting indexed by Google. Therefore that may or realistically should result in more traffic from Google.

The only negative effect I see is that because anybody can use signatures whenever they register themselves with your forum ,you can attract a lot of spams and you need to filter them out on a regular basis to maintain the forum.

No, this will not harm your site, if and only if, you keep quality content posts only. Some people do post some spammy things which actually lowers the forum's credibility.

Employ good and active moderators and keep a check on the posts.

Yes ,and the only issue would be that you will have to constantly work on building forums credibility .
