I would take a look at the Google Adwords keyword tool as a starting point - it will give you figures on searches being carried out and may also help you to find some keywords that you'd never even thought of.

the easiest way to find the niche, just search this query

niche+"keyword"

Any niche can earn money, the key is keywords.

LOL I am slow now I understand what he is talking about - you have to replace niche etc with your keywords but I doubt if this is a good way to find niches...

I would suggest a bit non standart way-make out a sort of investigation on the topic through some forums, chats or blogs, a kind of poll "what's the greatest niche that may give you much profit" or whenever you may call that, it would be interesting ti see the results...I think public opinion may give you the clue

First off, look not for the most popular niches, but for the niche that you have interest and knowledge in.The essential point being, that you are going to be spending allot of time and effort on this campaign and if the topic is something close to your heart, not only will it be gratifying, but your passion will show in sales. Now, take your list of options and search them in Google while looking out for sponsored ads. If you have encountered paid advertisements for your search in Google, there is money to be made. Naturally, try and narrow your list down to the one's with the highest ROI.

If you want to find a popular niche. Then go to eBay or some top selling sites. Try find out what are the top selling items there which you think you can also sell in your site. It is important to select one which you are also knowledgable at. Then use Google adwords tool or some keyword research tools to find out competitions or keywords you can use for this niche.

The need to find a niche is often fueled by the intention to earn from putting up content on a website along that niche. One way is to start with what you're passionate about (which will fuel your research efforts into the project), and then afterwards look for affiliate programs that fit that niche, and for keywords you can use. You can also do it from the other end, by researching first what products sell and which are the top sites that cater to those niches. Then look for keywords that are not so competitive but which also fit that niche.
