Bookmarks are effective?

I find bookmarking very effective since our sites are article driven. But I only choose the top sites to submit at.

What if you have a fairly static retail website that is not content heavy? Each of our products has its own page with lots of information but we are not an informational site in nature. I am unclear on how to use social bookmarking effectively if there is no real content to share.

With bookmarking sites, I've found they can be a source of traffic, but normally it's not all that targeted compared to other traffic.

If you want any SEO benefit at all, which may not be much anyway, then you should find the bookmarking sites that doesn't use nofollow.

Yes, you can bookmark it too but on selected sites only (some bookmarking sites accepts only latest news), just set the category that describe your page.

It does help but for me it really takes time and patience. We all know that SEO is a race and we need to follow through. It's kind of a competition where we are all doing the same thing.

Increase article directory submissions. Create new articles every week and submit them pointing to various pages of your website. So it will work.

yes definitely, it does help a lot in generating traffic specially if our submissions have been voted. So we need to ensure that we are also interacting with other users on the network so that they can help to increase the popularity of our entries.
