Keep on update your site, and you can build backlinks, but the quality is important than quantity.

It is fine. It is important to have quality content that helps the website visitors. How regular do you post new content depends of the topics you cover.

I would suggest you if you have fresh quality content everyday... then upload it everyday. Google loves good contents.

The more you upload unique and quality content the more exposure to google you will gain.

Hi,

A weekly update is sufficient for keeping a site open for crawler to crawl. What you need is proper and related backlinks for your site to keep it up on the google ranking and generating traffic.

A proper web traffic can be generated by specific directory posting and commenting on other blogs (related to your site).

Thanks

I think that's not the question of the quantity, the quality is still prefered there, But in general I guess 50 a day may be enough

Yes, you are absolutely right. Today the quantity doesn't matter but what matters is its quality.Always try to update it regularly so that your site can retain its reputation.
