Theres loads of ways to get good links. Writing articles is agood way, and then submit them to the article directories....Hopefully webmasters pick them up and spread em around.

The best type of links you should build is one-way links from high PR sites. Links should be quality and relevant. The number of links is not important, the quality is important.

Also you can build reciprocal links (between two sites) but there is only one condition. Both sites should be relevant to each other. The relevancy is very important at reciprocal link building and do not make so many reciprocal links.

I think, article directories are the good and reliable links for any owner of the sites. Cause these have high PR. And if you can get links to them, your sites would be valuable to the insight of the google's eye..

Build links on keywords that are relevant to your page and that have not so heavy competition but has good enough traffic. Build outside links, not within your domain. Put links only on sites which allows do-follow links.

You should try getting one-way links from high page rank sites, if possible, those high pr sites related to your niche. Use you keywords in the anchor text, by the way.
