Dose this work - please help!!
Hi,
I have been promoting clickbank products for about 2 years now.
I have promoted my website through Free ads, Facebook, Blogs, Forums, and ebay.
I have also promoted products as stand alone products on the above sites, plus through direct email marketing and have only ever had one sale.(that one came via ebay)
I have been considering using google adwords but I am concerned in would be a waste of money.
I get a lot of emails stating what people are earning but I know it only a form of marketing,
I am looking for some honest answers – Do these products actually sell, and if so how do you sell them as I have tried but to no avail.
I have not joined this forum to buy or sell any products – I would just like some honest answers!!!
Look forard to your replies.
Dave

Article posting at good directories is also a good option to get the business by making your products popular. You must definitely go for Google adwords, it is associated with many success stories and can't be waste of money. You just need to be careful for selecting the proper keyword.

I wouldn't say Google adwords is a waste of money, I guess it's a huge possibility for many aims in this deal

Hey, DAVE, free search engine traffic could dry up overnight, while Google AdWords is consistent. Relying only on free search engine traffic is a MASSIVE mistake. It is a mistake because what the search engines give you, the search engines can take away!
Your marketing needs to be like a stable platform, with many supporting legs. A business built on the one marketing leg of Google natural search engine traffic is one that could topple at any moment. However, with an AdWords campaign you have far more control over the consistency of the traffic you get from the campaign. Changes in the amount of traffic are much more gradual.
I will suggest u give it a try!

I agree totally.
Here are some thing you might make wrong:
- choosing the right product, go to CBengine, this is a tool to locate fresh clickbank products, not all of them will become successful, but this is a chance to promote products right from the start. try to promote more than only one product, see which of them sells well, kick the other and go out to find new products to test.
- to test a product you simply have to drive traffic to the salespage (I recommend a PPC service like adwords, but keep you bitting low) after 100 visitors you should hve made at least one sale, then this product may be a good choice.
- make a review website for the good products of one niche and use article marketing, videomarketing, press releases, blog commenting Squidoo and Hub to drive traffic to your website and build backlinks to get better search engine rankings.
Hope this wil help you to success.

Google AdWords helps establish excellent key performance indicator bench marks. For example, AdWords gives you a firm amount you need to pay for each visitor to your web site (the average cost-per-click amount) and how much you need to pay for each lead or sale (the cost-per-conversion that is setup through the AdWords conversion tracking).
These figures are the ones you can then compare all of your other web site traffic sources against so as to determine their effectiveness

Adwords is a great tool, but it certianly can be a waste of money imo. You need to be careful with it, and kept solid control over it, do not let it spiral out of control, by all means do a test run and see how it converts for you.
But 2 years and only 1 sale. I think that maybe you need to consider widening your horizon when it comes to the producst you are promoting, maybe these ones are saturated, they sound like they are.
IMHO opinion I would try out adwords as a test, but I would also try out different products or just different affiliate programmes altogether.
You have put in 2 years work and you deserve to be getting something back for it, thats alot of time for testing, if somethings not converting for you and you can be sure you have pput it infront of enough people, drop it and move on. Juggle multiple products/angles and drop, add to your portfolio until you find the right ones to get the job done.

Yes Adwords brings lots of traffic, but it will cost you. Even if you try using less competitive words, the amount of traffic is not usually worth it. You might want to use a lot of non competitive words to bring in so called low cost clicks. Low cost clicks on Google search is like 60 cents and that aint really low. I've made a bit of a profit with Yahoo but it's allways changing.
You should embellish your free ad campaigns since you made money all ready. Just do what you all ready do but more intense.

First of all, the product you are promoting, is it one of the best in its categories?
Is it more expensive than its competitors?
New affiliates tends to promote products with high commission payout forgeting to put themselves in the place of the buyer.
What are the chances that you will bring out your credit card to pay for this product that you are promoting among its other competitors?
