These days most of the traffic on websites come from search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. So you must use SEO tools to be ranked higher in these search engines for keywords relevant to your site. The right words in the right place can place your website to higher listings and get it seen more easily when people search.

Hi

Personally i would not depend on just a business model that gets traffic from google - you can spend a lot of energy on SEO both on and off -page, but as soon Google decides to change it algorytms AGAIN (and making it even more difficult for affiliate sites/marketers) you are screwed... strat all over again and will repeat itself again as soon Google changes it's algorytms again!

So you would need other business models that don't rely on Google. Most smart marketers are creating business models now to be less and less dependend on Google... their are great ways of doing that.

One is looking at you right now as you are reading this... 'guessed it yet?'

And build a list, as that is the most important thing to do online... never need Google again!

I would also say to participate in forums like digitalpoint.com and make the link of your website your signature and post threads, replies etc.

This brings loads of traffic to the site.

Amazing list you have here. One of the suggestions in your list, placing urls in forums posts, goes a long way. So it's prudent to set aside a few hours per day building up back links that way.

lol. I agree. I've seen so many people start a site and have no idea of how to get traffic to it. I guess they try some tactics and then pray that it works.

If anyone could do all this, I bet they will get lots of traffics

Does it need to be in order?

Because, it's really surprising to see Search Engine Optimization is number 89 on the list.
