You can also get high pagerank links from social bookmarking sites. You simply bookmark your content to get links to your site. You'd definitely also want to bookmark other sites too, to be of use to the community. Only bookmarking your own pages could get you into hot water with the social bookmarking site.

Most of the mentioned social bookmarking web sites ar no follow or have indirect link, so there is no passing link value. Most of them have established at voting or rating system so if content is not useful for others google will not count it.

digg
stumbleupon
reddit
delicious
spurl

These bookmarking sites are good.. but a lot of them are no follow not good for ranking your keyword in the SE. There are plenty of social bookmarking sites out there. You just have to do a little research and hard work too to get the good ones. Good Luck!
