Hi,

Are you looking for e-mail marketing software? If yes then you may check out iConnect or Constant contact. I can't comment on these because I've not used them.

I personally dont like email marketing because of its reliability. The one i like the most is social networking and bookmarking as both are wonderful ways of gaining good traffic.

See ya

I have to agree with julie. There is a thin line between email marketing and spam. One mistake and you are in the spam folder and most likely there is no way back...

I myself hate getting promotional emails, even if it is something to do with my work. I rather google it then get an unwanted newsletter in my inbox. But that is just me.

Seo is a 100 times better than email marketing.
Forget all those "I have 10 000 subscribers and a 10% conversion rate per emails sent" talk because they are all lies.
If you need to get traffic, do SEO and you would be glad you did.

I think there's such a thing as permission email marketing. You received a concisely composed one-message email containing an offer, with options to opt in or opt out, so you won't receive any more messages from the company sending out these things. When done right, promotion through email, whether to gain new customers or persuade old ones to repeat-purchase can work. If done right. If not. Spam it is.

Email marketing is not that in anymore nowadays. So far I think the biggest users of this style are porn sites. Which results to people not reading emails when they know it's just going to promote something.

EMAIL IS IN, but the rules change so often many drop off.

Good starter email marketing i would use in INTERSPIRES EmailMarketer.
Has some great features.

Sorry but I disagree completely - the money is still in teh list. If you have a self built, 10k, double opt in list of people who are hungry for a niche (for example weight loss), then you know that you can mail out an offer and will have buyers

we're not talking about spam here but a list you have built trust with, offer free tips to etc.

an old marketing cliche but imo, the money really is in the list

Default Best Email Marketing

It appears to be a split between Vertical Response and Constant Connections. They at least appear to be spending the most on advertising.

Sometimes email marketing is a catch 22 situation. You shouldn't email someone without getting their permission and you can't get their permission without emailing them. If you are considering email marketing research auto-responders and splash pages. These are two aspects that promote email marketing.

Does anyone use paid email lists to promote their affiliate programs? If you buy a list, how would you know how legitimate the list is and if the people you're emailing consider it spam? I like email marketing and I use Aweber. Aweber has a great tutorial for beginners.

Personal approach is not abolished. No one but you know your needs and those partners you are in search for. I do study all the partners advances I can benefit from and gaps in their businesses to fill.

When you use email marketing, the person you're emailing should want the information you offer. The free video course I offer explains how a squeeze page works. A squeeze page offers a free gift by subscribing to your site. If the visitor finds the gift informative they fill in their name and email address and receive the gift. If they don't want any further promotions they unsubscribe to your site. The option is theirs. If you want to see my squeeze you can go to http://www.affiliateslikeus.com.
