Direct mails is a better option than emails, atleast people tend to read the customized mail.

Very true Yanamk.

As said by other member above Email marketing can be a high rewarding business, but at the same time it has high amount of risk and if compare the amount of risk and reward ratio, i prefer not to touch this type of marketing technique.

Default Email Marketing

Hello to all ..

If you are a newbie do not waste your time with email marketing ..I mean how much JUNK MAIL do you delete ?
There were days WHEN it worked not much any more unless you have a great list and even then really no one is buying much today with the world's economy being as messed up as it all is !

Aweber has a great autoresponder / email marketing service, and they have a free 30 day trial. I use them and am totally happy. Email marketing is not risky if you build a tightly focused list in a tightly focused niche. from there it is just numbers. even lists of 300 opt in subscribers can amount to thousands of dollars if they are loyal to you and interested in what you have to say. Your emails must be of value and have no real elements of spam.

Are you looking for e-mail marketing software? If yes then you may check out iConnect or Constant contact. I can't comment on these because I've not used them.

I think email marketing is useful depending on your market. It may work for some and not for others.

Email marketing is best of its kind and is still effective these days. It is the shortest way to get conversions as it only needs you to have good email template, plus some leads and a email sending software...

Its really not that simple mate, one single mistake and your mail will be into the receivers spam mail box or junk folder. You need to be very good at writing a letter, it should not at all look spammy.

Email marketing can still be useful if you are using the right types of advertisements. For example, if your website is about domain registration and then you use a newsletter marketing program that has letters sent to thousands of webmasters interested in launching a website, you can expect to achieve very great result. It is important to make sure the potential customers would be receiving and reviewing the messages.

email marketing is not that effective because clients noticed that email marketing is like a form of spamming.

I personally don’t like email promotion for the reason that of its steadfastness. The one i like the most is social network and bookmarking as both are astonishing ways of in advance good travel.

E-mail marketing is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fund-raising messages to an audience. In its broadest sense, every e-mail sent to a potential or current customer could be considered e-mail marketing. However, the term is usually used to refer to:
sending e-mails with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a merchant with its current or previous customers, to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business,
sending e-mails with the purpose of acquiring new customers or convincing current customers to purchase something immediately,
adding advertisements to e-mails sent by other companies to their customers, and
sending e-mails over the Internet, as e-mail did and does exist outside the Internet (e.g., network e-mail and FIDO).

Researchers estimate that United States firms alone spent US $400 million on e-mail marketing in 2006.
