Do you think PPC is better than SEO
Can anyone please explain this? Is PPC a better option than SEO?

PPC can help you get your targeted traffic very fast (within 1 - 3 days) if you know how to handle PPC. As for PPC, it can be quite expensive if you don't know anything.
SEO is a free method that you can make use to get high ranking in search engines without any cost. For SEO, it is more for long term.

You are right - PPC is definitely useful for online advertisers but its quite expensive if you don't have any knowledge regarding it, on other hand SEO is a free process from which you can get higher ranking from targeted keywords.

Hi,
With PPC you get targeted traffic to your site very quickly and it is easy to setup and manage. However, it costs money. where as SEO helps you get free traffic but it is time consuming.

Going thru your replies, it looks that PPC is better than SEO as it needs a lots of patience and efforts. By investing in PPC you can get some instant results.
Thanks for the help...

Just be careful not to waste a lot of money on PPC.
Advertise only when your target group in known to be online most.
PPC can seem like the easy solution and yes, SEO can be time consuming, but on the other hand, SEO can be outsourced, which is a long term investment in your products as opposed to the short term PPC solution.
Good luck,
Jeff

I dont think so. PPC is better in a short time to bring customers. But it is expensive for small business companies and some times it doesn't worth the money you paid. SEO is better in the long term. Whatever, a site owner needs to do SEO sooner or latter. The earlier you do, the more you will get.

I think that it depends on your niche.
PPC can get instant results but the cost can be more prohibitive than doing some SEO yourself.

I think SEO is better seeing as you will get long term results rather than spending huge amount of money for PPC. IMO PPC is a bit unrealistic if your looking for sustainable customers and traffic.

Exactly. Just because someone's browsing your page to make a few cents, doesn't mean they're actually checking the site out.

As more and more People learn about the ins and outs of internet marketing, I believe more people will start clicking on organic ranked ads than sponsored ads. Simply because when you click on an add that has earned top placement organicly the ad is usually more what the searcher is looking for and it wouldn't be ranked so high if it wasn't. But you can't go wrong using both. PPC is a great way to receive results in the beginning since SEO takes some time before it starts paying dividends but at the same time you should be optimizing your site as well.

There are pros and cons to both PPC and SEO but if you have time, patience, and know what you are doing then I personally believe that SEO has the biggest benefit bc it is much easier for a competitor to try and duplicate your SEO success than it is for them to duplicate your PPC success.
