Is really search engine optimization needed?

Everybody who have website is carzy about its website's search engine optimization, he need its site to be top for targeted keywords. But I want to know- Is search engine optimization really needed?

If you are an online based company... ABSOLUTELY... think about it for a moment. Let's say we're in the business of selling Bird Feeders. Someone googles "Bird Feeders for sale" or something in that nature. We want our website, to be right at the top of the list. Odds are, the average person won't spend too much time sifting through the pages and will most likely settle with one of the first websites that are listed. In SEO, it is our constant goal and purpose to be that first website.

Search Engine Optimization is needed for all other than those websites which have certain group of audience and does not require too much of public intervention.

If you want people to find your site using the search engines, then you need SEO.

If you're running ads on television 24 hours a day, then maybe you do not need SEO.

I think it's needed. At least for me. Most of my income are from search engine traffic. If you are not good at SEO, you have to be good at PPC or Google Adwords. Both traffic strategies are very important to most internet marketers. Of course, there are people who got success with web 2.0 strategies such as press releases, social bookmarking, video marketing, etc.

Except few sites all the other sites needs search Engine Optimization.

Why do we need a site?
We need to make our business to have good profit. This site would help our business online, by getting customers through Internet. The more the customers we get the more the sale and the profit increases.

How can we get more customers online?
Only when we have good traffic to our site.

How can we get more traffic?
Only when we are in the top positions in search engines.

How can we make bring our site in top positions on search engines?
Only through Search Engine Optimization we can bring our site to the top positions on search engines.

right, u do SEO based on your website's quality!

No matter how good a SEO job that you have done, if u didn't have good content, then all the effort may end up in vain!
