How did Vector Marketing get my phone number?
Hello Friends this is My Friend Question. I Would Like To Know about Your Thoughts about this question.
I just received a call from Vector Marketing and the girl sounded really young so right away I was suspicious because I have been getting a lot of prank calls lately, but this woman told me she was from a company called vector and she wanted to offer me a job. She referred to me by my first name and every time I would ask a question, she would talk over me and dismiss the question. Then she finally asked if I was 17 or older and I told her no, and she said "Oh I'm sorry. Goodbye"
Super sketchy, right? I'm pretty sure it's a scam but how in the world did they get my number?
The only thing I can think of is if they got my number from this online survey research that I do, where I answer surveys and get points for them which I can later redeem rewards for. But I don't think they got it from there because when I provided my number the survey company ensured confidentiality...
