how to add blog widgets

Hello everyone!

I was working on my first ever serious blog lately. I noticed however that it lacks those so-called widgets. I want to add a shoutout, the social bookmarking sites and many others. Is it possible to add these without purchasing that account upgrades?

Sorry about that. I'm at WP. I was trying to add widgets other than the ones which are set but I think I need to buy an account upgrade before I can have my own set of widgets.

No...for me you need to test it's first before open your own widgets account...I did some widgets work but still thingking don't need open account. just add widgets code in voila ...
