Secondhand Smokers are Twice as Likely to Die from Heart Disease
If you smoke, do you protect others?
People who breathe in a lot of other people's tobacco smoke are twice as likely to die from heart disease as those exposed to lower levels of "secondhand" smoke, according to a British study.

I have hard to belive that, maybe if the smoker and the victim are in same room, but still it seems strange.
I am a smoker and i never smoke inside the house and i always keep distance from people that are walking by.

So you are nearly the only one smoker who really cares about people around him, thanks a lot for that!
As for the research, I think it may be true, as once polluted, your body is weaker and it's harder for it to resist

Indeed passive smoking is very harmful in the long run especially and hence requires some responsible behavior from the smokers community .

Me i believe on what you've said, because if you are the smoker then you have this filter that using from your cigarette but to those who can smell you smoke came from your cigarette has nothing or don't have any filters that is why i believe that they are more likely unsafe rather than you.

Yes it is right passive smokers are more likely to get affected than the active smokers as i read many articles regarding this in many news papers and saw some video posted in internet by people too about second hand smoking....

I hate cigarettes. Smelly, irritating for the eyes and it may very well affect those not smoking.

I used to smoke when I was a teenager but now I can't stand cigarettes and smoke. I can't stay in a room with smoking people. Thanks God my husband doesn't smoke.
