Artificial Intelligence?

Do you think that this should be used in games? Will it improve the game play? or just makes it harder for us to win? And besides gaming what do you think of Artificial Intelligence chatting? Ever tried it?

.. AI for games, if it makes for a more challenging and exciting game then i'd be all for it, haven't tried AI chatting, how is it?

It think the artificial intelligence it is used in games already and improves the game play ! For example was used in chess and nobody - except Kasparov once - cannot win against the best chess game program.
