What do you do when you can't sleep?
For whatever reason I am blessed with the curse of not being able to go to sleep easily 4 out of 7 nights during the average week. I literally get less than 4 hours of sleep on these days because I just can't doze off. Sleep medications don't even work. I occupy my time messing on my website(s), brainstorming and playing on forums. (Like right now!)
What do you do to pass the time when you can't sleep!

I am also facing the problem of not sleeping enough time in the night! I am just watching television if I can't sleep!

I used to listen songs from mobile through headphone, whenever i cant sleep, but before finishing two tracks I'll get sleep and my brother will remove the headphone.

If you want to get sound sleep, take part in any game with physical exercise.
Make hard work. get yourself tired. and you il get sound sleep at night,.
or you can also read my funny jokes,,,

Luckily it happens so rare to me, as I'm ususally tired to death after the working day, but still when it does, I watch some dull and boring movies, tend to fall asleep after five minutes of it!

Yeah,very rarely to me too.If i'm can't sleep ,sometime i will thinking about some unreality things ,for instance if i have a beatiful building how to decorate it .Also listening radio or reading books .

I have been taking melatonin for years. Melatonin is a hormone that your body secretes in the pineal gland naturally. Melatonin is what makes you sleep. Serotonin is what wakes you up. After about the age of 40 your pineal gland slows down the production of melatonin. I am long past that age so I take the supplement. You can buy it at drugstores or Walmart over the counter very cheaply. You might give it a try. I sleep like a baby. And drool like one too LOL!

I get out of bed and keep myself busy. Tossing and turning in bed for hours won't really make you go to sleep right away. Before going to bed, why not drink a cup of warm milk or taking a warm bath? Relaxing through meditation could also help you fall asleep better.

Hey guys i also have the same problem before. i am a certified insomniac. But my doctor advice me to drink a warm milk 10minutes before going to be. It helps your blood stream to warm and regulate your sleep. Try to do it as well, it might works on you. On me? It really works.

why not do some reading or listen to some music?or you can recall some happy memery in your mind.that'll make you feel better I think.at least,I listen to music,I fall asleep again.

When I cant sleep sometimes I watch the television, read a book or magazine, or maybe have a bottle of beer to drink. Sometimes I also take a hot warm shower just to relax me before lying in the bed. Just close your eyes, relax and slowly you will fell asleep.

If i can't able to sleep in the nights, then i use too listen soft songs and use to recall old things.....
