what does 1 reputation point mean?

could you please explain me
what does 1 reputation point mean?

Look up in the right hand corner and use your mouse for a mouse over of the icons. It's right next to where it says permalink. You can give reputation points to other people. Say they help you with a problem. You can give them a point to say thank you and increase their reputation in the forum. Next to that is where you can report a bad post. Like someone being hateful or rude or spamming the forum. This forum seems well moderated which I like. I have been in other forums where spammers rum amuck.

I had to start over 'cause I lost my post trying to edit a misspelling. Anyway, if you look at someones post. look in the upper right hand corner. Use your mouse. In a mouse over it will say Add to the persons reputation. It is for if someone helps you. You can give them a point to say thank you and increase their reputation in the forum. Up there too you can report a bad post if someone is being hateful or rude or spamming. I think this forum is well moderated which I like. I have been in spam forums and didn't stay a member for long.
