Was Liu Xiang the young athlete who pulled up injured in the hurdles ?? I felt so sad for him because the same thing happened four years ago. The nice thing to see was all the athletes rushing back at the end to help and console him. That's the real Olympic spirit.

I don't have a favorite as there were so many wonderful performances but being from the UK, I am proud of the way we presented the games and think that all the athletes and fans who came from all over the world can be proud as well for making it special.

Yes, Liu Xiang is that because the two injured missed the gold medal, the Olympics, look at his leg hurdle in the end, to fully appreciate the Olympic spirit, I believe he will continue to stand in the arena of the Olympic Games.This is only a matter of time.
