Is there anyone knows difference between microcontroller and microprocessor?

Our personal computer's processors are micerprocessors and electronic equipments are made of the microcontrollers.
Like pentium 1,core 2 duo are microprocessor and automatic washing machine works with help of microcontroller.
Is anyone knows the technical difference Microcontroller v/s microprocessor ?
