Ufc Ppv?
I'm looking forward to the Ultimate Fighting Championship( UFC) tomorrow nite. The main event should be pretty close between Liddell and Rampage Jackson. Anybody into this?

I love the UFC and I actually train MMA a couple of days a week, although at 33 years old I want to fight at least once but obviously won't ever make a career of it.
I love Chuck Liddell but this is going to be a tough fight for him. He is a Hell of a lot better fighter than he was when he lost to Rampage in Pride, but I do think Rampage is in his head and that can really shake one's confidence.
That being said Chuck is on a roll and Rampage looks to have lost his killer instinct after getting clobbered by Wanderlei Silva, so I think Chuck catches him and knocks him out.

The sportsbook have Rampage at a big underdog at 2-1. I see this fight being alot closer. Liddell is the champion and maybe the better fighter, but I think Rampage has faced tougher competition in Pride.

Most of the Pride guys coming over to UFC are getting exposed due to the no elbows rule in Pride. Look what happened to Mirko CroCop. As soon as Gabriel Gonzaga took him down and starting pounding him with elbows CroCop was spent, and when the fight was stood back up Gonzaga easily KO'd him. I love Rampage but he just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

This form of fighting is vicious. How do you think Mike Tyson would go in it? I can't watch it though because i think its really to disgusting. Its bare knuckles to the head. I just can't stand it.

It's not bare knuckles to the head, as they use smaller gloves (5 ounces to be exact). It is the purest form of combat sport out there, as it incorporates all forms of fighting, not just two guys punching each other in the head repeatedly. MMA has a million times better safety record than boxing, and no MMA fighter has ever died in the ring or octagon.
As for Chuck and rampage, Chuck looked very soft and out of shpe, and Rampage knocked the Hell out of him tonight. If you bet the underdogs in this UFC you made bank!

Yeh well still its brutal. Have people died doing it. I love sport and boxing but this is just too extreme for me. Sorry, but i bet it is a good sport still.

Chuck's style doesn't matchup very well against rampage. Correct, if you bet all the dogs, you had a nice payday. Based on moneyline moves, alot of people bet on Rampage. But when they were interviewing the celebs during the fite, it seemed like they thought liddell was gonna win.
