Personally i am really focused on content rather than SEO ! Content to me is king , but the problem is where to find fresh content and unique one as in that way you will get indexed by Google faster !
I think Content, All because of Content visitors like website, Not SEO is that much important, I concerntrates on Content more than SEO because contents a website can be called as website.

I agree that visitors are there only because of content. But if you just put content in website without any SEO work, you are actually losing the amount of visitors and getting far less than actually your content site deserves. SEO and Content are related to each other. You will rock if you have got both. Without SEO and content you cannot get enough visitors, so I voted for both.

I do not think content has anything to do with getting indexed. Any site can get indexed within 24-48 hours as long as it is attached to at least one site that is regularly crawled.
The site can be blank or full of garbage and it will get picked up.
Now, how it will rank in the results will be another story without good content.
Content has nothing to do with getting indexed faster....
Unique Content means when you get indexed, you have a higher chance of attracting visitor, as copied content generally get filtered or may not get higher ranking too. More over what helps in better ranking is link building and seo and ofcource "keywords"
