What is Women-Owned business?

Federal and state government agencies do not provide any special structure to register or form women-owned companies. There is no special terminology used to form a women-own company with the federal and state. But there are some special programs are available on federal, state and county levels.

I've never understood how minorities can get special loans and privileges, but if you heard the same being offered for a minority group, people would riot. This isn't the 1950s anymore- a black woman owning a business is just as likely to succeed as a white male!

Is there anything like that? So interesting! I never heard about that. We really treat legal person on the eaqual basis, no matter it is man or woman.

Women nowadays is getting the same treatment with men. Apparantly most of the company I've known was empowered by womens. In our country now, no criticism nor sexism when it come to job or work place. All long as they have productivity with the job and being an asset with the company they can have the job.

So funny! Never heard that before! Is there any privilege for women-owned companies? I guess so.
In our country, men and women just enjoy the same rights. To be frank, most outstanding business owners are men. I think that's related to our traditional custom. Most women have to stay at home and take care of their famillies. I think if there is any privilege for women-owned companies, the policy can encourage women to go outside their familly and do business.

It is hard to believe that such discriminations still prevail in the society especially in the developed countries. Such clauses should be removed from law.

There is not any special meaning. Any business can be owned by woman.

there shouldn't be any discrimination but as their are certain terms used for men , it might be for women. simple!
