Best source of online revenue
What is your most profitable source of online revenue? In my case it's Google Adsense. However, it has not very encouraging in the previous months. I used to receive regular checks from Google Adsense.

I make pretty good and steady revenue with adsense but for a few of my sites I make more with adbrite because of their cpm offerings.

I find I do better with affiliate programs. My sites are highly niched and so if I can get the traffic, I can make conversions.
I used to make the mistake of placing all kinds of junk on my site because the commission was high but now I make more money with targeted banners with lower paying commissions. The volume works out to be more in this case.

Affilates never worked for me. I can guarantee that nothing works like Direct Advertising. I get around $40/review and a contextual link pays me $10. A sitewide link is a monthly source of income. I sell them for $60/6 Month.

Affiliates worked for me, in a great deal!
I tried adsense for about 4 months, made around $45 a month.. Wasn't too happy as i had a fair amount of traffic coming in.
I then switched to CJ, made $400 on sales and leads in the first month.. I havn't gone back to adsense since.
The key is to find an advertisment that pays well through leads to start.. I used Realarcade, they pay $12 for every person to sign up for a 30 day Free trial with them.. This made me a BOMB of money!
Their you go people, just gave you the key to richness lol.. enjoy

I think to really make money online you need to have a skillset. If a 5th grader could do it, it probably won't make you money. This is why web development companies, web hosting companies, and sales-based companies are probably the most stable sources of income but also the hardest to build up.

I'm still convinced that it all depends on your content. It's so much tougher to make money with any of the affiliate programs without original content. I see Adsense sites out there with page after page of articles that are taken from another source with no order to them and they wonder why their Adsense revenue is so low. As long as you have original content that speaks to the reader you will make money off Adsense.

I have been earning regularly from online auctions though just enough to maintain my online connectivity. I'm quite active in our local Yahoo and Ebay auctions where I deal with local consumers.

Real online income for me comes from Online services, like Web design, logo, article writing or content management.
Building a web site presence entails a lot of SEO optimizing,Link build up,feeds and relevant, fresh and unique articles.
Its a scary mix,so I stick with simple send and pay service contract.

It all depends on the niche and type of your site, for instance using an affiliate program in a forum might not be the best thing. All in all I find adsense to be the best choice, because most web users are used to it and their targeting is usually spot on.

Your own personal best source of online income.
What has been your best source of online income to date? Sadly, I have never made money outside of google adsense. I have yet to come up with something more original than that, but I'll keep trying!

I used to just use adsense but now its a very close race between adbrite and adsense. Adsense pays better per click while adbrite offers cpm/inline ads and adbrites referral rocks.

Adsense is also my best source of online income, though I really hope one day I am able to sell advertisement directly to the interested parties.

I agree. I make more from selling stuff on ebay that I do from any other source. I could make more if I put more time into it, but with 3 kids and a real world business of my own, I don't have much extra time!
