After Google stated that your sites selling text-links with no the nofollow-tag would be banned, this monetization routine becomes less popular.
Many site owners are only using text-links to use in their sites.

Please explain more about the no-follow tag. Your statement confused me. Are you saying that Google doesn't allow web direct advertising with "nofollow" attribute? How about if its "dofollow"? Thanks

well Google is following the do follow links because this has a standard no follow blogs sites have no standard in Google ranking therefore Google is not appreciated any site links from no follow sites.

Hello Kevin, I think you missed my question about Holo Man's post. He said that web advertisers who sell nofollow tags are banned in Google. I really don't know what he is trying to say but that is how I understand his reply.
