2. submit to the high quality site directories.
3. post on the do follow forums.
4. Build a blog on the do follow blog websites and add your site link.
5. Blogs comments.
6. submit link to coupon websites and get the backlinks.
7. sumit RSS to RSS directories.
8. do the related link exchange.
9. Add site links to the do follow article websites.
10. Search on Google to find where your competitors post their links on.
11. Post your link to the do follow news/release websites.

Well, being a SEO expert i would like to share some experiences. I think this question is very simple, how to do SEO, But maen thing is that how to do better SEO.
There are some vital and fundamental points about That, like.
1.link submissions.
2.Forum posting.
3.Blog commenting.
4.Social bookmarking.
5.Yahoo answering.
I these are the basic setups for doing SEO.

There are two types On and Off page which one do you really want to know?
In my case I am only aware of Off page which include:
1. Directory submission
2. Article submission
3. P.R. submission
4. Clsssified
5. Blog commenting
6. S.B.
7. Forums
Hope this will helpful for you but sorry being not sharing tips for On page coz I am also newbie in this field.
