Default Website flipping

This is a very profitable business. Create simple websites with lots of content, work on SEO, and then get their PR to a decent level, and sell them. Creating a website and then working on the SEO and improving the PR shouldn't take more than a month. These sell anywhere between $600-$1000.

This is a very good suggestion and achieveable. When I first started on ebay about 5 years ago, that is what I did for a living. I stopped because of one family issue or another but I know this system works.

But then it was easy to buy domains with links so it could give the site a real boost in the first month.

I agree with all you say but I am wondering how you get a decent PR in just one month. I thought it took alot longer. And I am only meaning PR2 or PR3.

Do you mind giving us a hint or two - thank you.

One way is to scout for an abandoned domain name with a good PR or those with instant traffic. I have not tried it myself but I have encountered success stories on this technique.

Default Hi Oosha

Hi oosha

I don't really quite understand this. From reading your post it says it shouldn't take more than a month. I don't consider $600-$1000 highly profitable for a months work, am I missing something??

Paul

site flipping is sort of like flipping a house. You just need to do your research and with a little time and money you can make a decent profit.

so you plan on making anywhere from 7.2k - 12k a year... not worth the hastle. I say build people websites based on wordpress or other CMS and crank out 5-10 a month for the same cost or higher.

It can be risky, but if you do your research it can pay off.

I'm not sure you can get a pr3+ in less then a month

If I were a customer, I might be more inclined to work with a designer in weaving my site, according to my aims and the designer's creative resources. This might take a few months, instead of days or hours after purchasing a ready-made CMS site. I figure working with a designer instead of buying a designed site offers more refinement over time, as the client gets to know the possibilities the designer may discuss, and the designer gets to know the client's business side of things. I'm into fishing, for example, so I would appreciate it if what I got was not a template but something tailored to my niche of fishing. Just a thought.

It is good idea, but i think one should earn for his website, need not to sell. Its your hard work and how can you sell it to others.?

It is good idea, but i think you should be patient for this because PR of the sites are not increasing in a short span of time.
Sometimes takes one year or so.....

Thanks.

What if the website you initiallyl thought of as to-be-sold-later started raking in revenue? How much do you sell it for?

Anton Juan, there's a website that you can go to that will determine how much your website is worth. I'm sure if you google "how much is my website worth", the url will come up.

A better suggestion would to be to work on to a site for a longer period than one month. Put some love into it as a site that has an income can sell much better.
