Blog Tips?

I just started my blog about three weeks ago and I'm looking for ways to make some money with it. It is a sports blog, so I don't know if there is much money in that niche. Any experience with blogs? Sports blogs?

You could in the beginning try to use adsense on the blog in order to ahve some revenue.It will depends on the keywords and how much Google will pay.
Next you can try to review some sports equipment and if you have traffic cash in a lot of money

Try for text-link-ads.com. Or if you're generating enough traffic, you can apply for kontera ads.

I'm now hearing in another forum that kontera ads may be changing their TOS very soon in that they will be allowing smaller publishers to. This will be very good if this does happen.

google adsense and build a myspace account or pay for services that do bulletin post services directing traffic to you blog it works for me I make about 10.00 from my blog a day

Another good way to make money on sports related sites, is through the clothing. You could sell jerseys and hats for the teams involved.

You might even be able to sell tickets to different games through an affiliate program.

Promote your blog with promotion tips. Best idea is to keep adding unique blog posts and do some link building. Submit rss feeds to websites that offer that service. Submit your blogs to blog directories. Submit articles to Digg.com, and many other offering such services.

You can blog about sports gear, like shoes, clothings, or sports equipment. That can bring in some revenue.

or something like that

Just keep writing on a daily basis and you will automatically see visitors finding their way to your blog. If you are using adsense ads, then use sky scraper ads and rectangle ads!
They show best ads and their CTR is probably higher than other ad units. Good luck
