How To Let My Visitors Come Back??

Hi,
what do you think are the keys of success for returning visitors??

i think that good content and design are very important. but what if this does not help.

are you using any social bookmarking tips or friend-referer-scripts?

I get visitors from communities I joined like mybloglog. I also use tell a friend script. It does help bring in visitors. The first time I installed it, it has boost visitors to my blog.

i will try that. is mybloglog the same as blogger? i mean .. can you install lot of mods and addons??

Actually it's not a cms like blogger or wordpress. All you need to do is sign up at mybloglog.com. Then you add a widget on blogger/wordpress. It's like myspace and friendster.

You can see the example at my blog, rammelfirdaus.com. Look for an orange box with lots of friendly faces on the right. That's a mybloglog widget. After you sign up. You can visit other blogs from mybloglog comunities. When I visit them, most of the time, the blog owner will visit back. Make some relevant comments on their blog, and you might get traffic. It works for me.

Just a thought, it might really be a good idea to make friends with your visitors. Or making a lot of friends in the blog communities first and invite them.

If you want people to come back to your site day after day, then you need to keep adding quality content on a regular basis, else you wont get too many return visitors.

I wish I knew, then maybe I would be making some money. My guess is just producing good content, you can't go wrong with that.

A nice design and quality content is the only key of getting returning visitors.
(Most important is content).

Well as Rajat said , I am always concentrated on the content a website offers !

No matter how ugly the template might be , if it has excellent content I am quite sure your members will come again and again to check for new updates !

You do not let them come back you make them come back.
give them the Idea that you are having renewal information and updates, give some free stuff and change them each week so they will come to see your new offers

let u update the website, make new things available , create some incentives, like visiting 1000 times gets a gift voucher , something like tat .. it makes a lot of visitors and easy trust and things

I agree, quality content as well as you updating your websites regularly. And of course you have to make sure that have user friendly website.

Joining different networking websites could help a lot in promoting your website.

If you have content om your website that is interesting to people and if you add content (with keywords) people are not only much more likely to return to your site, new visitors will be able to find you much easier through organic searches.

Yeah you are right that social media networking is best way to get visitors on site ... but remember Mostly Visitors those are coming from social media sites they just visit your site And after that never came back ...

So most important thing to keep your visitors to your site is Content ... As long you have interesting content on your site people keep visiting your site ... But when you stop posting Fresh and interesting content they'll never back to your site ... So now make your plans how you gonna tackle this Problem

Content is always the king to command your visitors, I should say, to supply the information in need of them, they will come back, I don't think there is any other solution

Content is king in SEO so fresh content so update ur site with fresh content

I vote goes to social bookmarking!

There is more to book-marking your pages online than just getting indexed; you are also guaranteed some traffic from these sites as soon as you submit to them.

Since you will also be tagging (or submitting them under your niche keywords), a lot of the traffic from these sites are also very targeted. The result is that you may also have return visitors if you have very useful content or compelling offers on your website.
