Most members have sites for earning money. It's just kind of small business. But business require investment. How much money have you invested in your site and are you getting profit from your site now?

I've actually decided in the next month to spend about five thousand dollars.
I am going to write a bunch more articles and do some better advertising with my sites. I am going to try some more ppc programs and basically get some new designs.
Hopefully I will see jump in traffic and hence sales.

Earn money
You can earn a lot of money through your site. You can first bring traffic and back links to your site. After that you put google Ads in your site.

Time is actually a large investment as well. All those sleepless night trying to figure out how to make the site better, the articles better, the traffic better, and so on. That's a lot of time.

I don't know how to convert "time investment" into $$.
I invest less than $500 to develop few website but spend a lot of time (only rest when I am sick) to explore how to rank in SE and bring traffic.

money does not matter here but you need to invest your time, experience, curiosity and smart work.

it depends on target that you like to earn, you can invest $40-60 permonth of you like to get traffic from building SEO and if you like to buy 1000 visitor/day from legitimate traffic company at least you should spend $70 permonth for it

It depends, as you can get free template based on CSS and have content entered yourself and you only pay for hosting and domain name

I agree with some of the other folks on here about time=money
Right now I dont have boat loads of money, if I did I would be out on my boat. With my money. Boats and hoes
So I invest my time for the hopeful long term return of having a website that creates residual income
Not looking for get rich quick schemes, and not looking to be an instant online millionaire. Because I am a realist.
Just looking to invest my time to create value over the long haul

I want to have my own site. Maybe that's the only thing I'll be paying for. But before that, research, research, research. You can never get too much information.
