Thumbs up How important is it to have .com domains?

This is my feeling on the entire subject. .net is a perfectly acceptable domain extension, it is valid and I have never really heard of .net domains as disrespectful. However, the majority of internet users when typing in a web address will by reflex use the .com extension. So, if you only have one domain and it is .net, the odds are pretty good a person typing your web address in their browser window will type xyz.com and not .net, leading them to never reach your website.

For the domain name you really like, would it still make sense if you added the two letters va (for virtual assistant) after it? You can always purchase your second choice domain and keep an eye out for your favorite (they expire, so at some point down the road you may be able to purchase it).

One other piece of advice, buy both .com and .net domain extensions for the domain you choose. Domains can be purchased pretty inexpensively...this way you are covered should a person use the .com OR .net extension when typing in your web address.

Get both .com and .net domain names at cheap rate here: a reliable Domain Registration service.

It can possibly be confusing if you have a name that is currently in use as someone else's .com. The whole .com thing is a common assumption. No matter how many times you tell a client, or print it as .net, the autonomous response when telling someone about a website is .com and likewise when someone tells someone else about it, they hear .com.

I would always go for a .com domain name because .com is the first thing people try when searching for a specific web address, secondly .com´s often outrank any other extension in the search results. It is the most expensive extension, but totally worth it.

.com tradionally associated with international companies so if you are not in the US I suggest you go for a local domain otherwise .biz and .info are all good! In terms of search engines it makes no difference.

According to my knowledge Eurodns.com provides so many attractive offers for their customers which make them attractive indeed. And their flexible system of discounts is amazing.

I'd like to express the point that Eurodns.com is reliable European domain name registrar. It happened so that many webmasters appreciate this registrar. They offer a lot of specials and discounts. Give them a try.

Very important. Here is why

6 reasons why you should get a .com 1)Your visitors expect you to be on .com 2)Your visitors have more comfort with .com 3)It looks more professional than other extensions 4)Google will like you better 5)You can get type-in traffic 6)You may get traffic from a matching domain in another extension. (beware of trademark issues)
