What do people mean when they say they get organic traffic. I wanted to buy a couple domains and people are asking him about the organic traffic.

How do you get this traffic and why are people interested in it? Can you make money from this traffic?

I think organic traffic means traffic that comes naturally more likely from SEOs backlinks, trackbaks. Not traffic from banner ads, google ads, anything that involves money. Thats what I think.

Organic traffic is traffic generated naturally from people searching in a search engine and stumbling upon your domain, Organic traffic is invaluable because it costs nothing so any revenue from that type of traffic is 100% profit. For example I have Proxy A name gomimmy.com and Proxy B names Unfilter.Us now no one I know of would type in gomimmy to find a proxy so Proxy A relies on referallys to get traffic while Proxy B gets a ton of organic traffic from people typeing unfilter into search engines.

Much depends on SEO. And that traffic isn't connected with funds.

I guess if you have an attractive domain name, you would also get organic traffic with out the need of SEO, since people would just type your domain.

- create relative back links to your website from other relative websites.
-create unique content and avoid any thing duplicate

Just because you have a good domain name doesn't mean you'll get traffic. It is different if you have a major brand like microsoft or HP where peopel will automatically type in the url. For everyone else you have to do the hard stuff by having a quality website, build traffic and then you can start to earn som emoney.
