Default What will happen after 10 years !?

Hello Dear Friends !

I would like to ask you what do you think , what will happen with domain names after 10 years !? Almost all the valuable domain names have gone and after 10 years will be really difficult. Do you think new tld's will come up? A very interesting concept i heard from a friend of mine would be voice domain technology. No need to write anything , simply say "Yahoo.com" and you will be redirected to Yahoo !

What do you think please !?

Thanks

Olgi

AffiliateSeeking will become famous soon enough
They keep bringing out alot of new tld's now. I think technology will keep improving at a fast rate and voice recongization will become much more popular. I have also have a feeling that there is going to be software that will even talk and think like a human, so that will then lower the costs of customer service for businesses I guess. lol

I'm just wondering how Google is going to keep up with the growth of the web. Everyone is building so much content as it's king, but this will either mean Google will have to keep picking up pace, or they will have to get slightly behind with some of the web's content. Even if they did get slightly behind, their competitors will most probably be much further behind from Google, so really they will still have the advantage of success like what they have today.

Well personally i believe nobody can "mess" with Google ! If they see you have a great concept or you have a successful website they buy it from you for billions ! (YouTube is the perfect example)

I hope we can meet after 10 years here , at this thread and laugh with our comments

We will never run out of TLDs. Definitely after 10 years we expect a breakthrough in the internet. I expect .XXX to be revived .

I personally think they will just keep adding tlds. It is much like area codes for telephone numbers. As more cities build, more area codes are created.

In regards to google, just because they are big now does not mean they will even be around in 10 years. Another major start up may be in the works and may dominate the field in 10 years.

10 years ago, no-one thought google would be what it is now and other search engines who were around back then are gone now.

I think that new and new TLDs will keep coming. More and more extension means just more and more domains.

And even then .com domains can be available. You never know there can be just too many words to finish. I still get the desired .org and .net and sometimes even .com when people think all good names are bought. You just need to be more creative to find yourself a suitable domain.
