I have heard recently that godaddy.com lists all the searches in their domain search and picks the good and best domains out of the search so that they could park it and sell it for a much bigger price.
That is an old rumor that has plagued every domain registrar out there. I know some of the less reputable domain registrars (Registerfly) used to sell their domain query list, but all it would take is one disgruntled employee to rat out Godaddy and they would take a huge PR hit. They are too big of a company and I don't believe they do that.
GoDaddy fetches the best domains!
