Is it true that some companies but domain names in advance and later sell it on much higher prices?Is it possible? Is it legal?

my suggestion is yahoo. They are offering .info and .org domai names 99cents for first year and .in domain name for 11.99

They were a real popular domain registrar which was primarily due to the very low rates that they extended for domain registration. They were having problems holding their books straight and now ICANN has pulled their license and all the domains are being transfered to other registrars.

Additionally, when hunting down cheap domain registration, be aware that by choosing the non-com names (like net, org, info, etc), you can get a better deal on your domain from the get-go, which is a good thing since the .coms we want are so often taken.!
