I need to create my own website in PHP.. can anyone tell me how to register a good and cheap domain and how I can make it more efficient...
Please help me out as I am a learner and I want to learn more about Web technologies...!!

I'd advise you to use services from a big domain registrar like SiberName.com and Enom.com. They offer quite enough domains among which you may choose what you need.
What domain extension are you interested in?

Cheap domain ... hm ... you may get free domain name from MarbleHost.com as this company offers such service for their customers.

NameCheap, 1and1, Netfirms are all reputable companies that have good prices on the most popular TLDs. A number of people also mention Name.com although i have never used them

There are a lot of hosting companies to register your domain name. But first of all you should do a research and choose the cheapest domain registrar.

how cheap is cheap igro? for a .com I think the cheapest is about $8

and do you need hosting? some hosting offer so call free domains but their names will appear as registrant rather than yours so beware...

Think something like that but it is possible to find cheaper.

Cheap domains may be got from many hosting companies, the resellers are usually cheaper than accredited registrars, but accredited is more reliable.

I heard that if you buy any hosting plan you will get free domain for life. Nice offer I think.

Chepest possible domains are FREE, some hosting companies (webhostingbuzz.com) offer free domain name registrations, with any of their shared hosting plans. If you also need hosting youmay refer to one of such companies, reading the TOS beforehand.

I would recommend you namecheap.com.

i recommend dntemple.com. u get free domains for posting on their forum. i have gotten many domains there and got to learn many things too. so if u want to learn more about websites and stuff and get a free domain, i suggest u try dntemple

I think you can have a free domain from a host with a plan. Good company for such activity is MMhosting.com. Low cost plans with large resources and free domains inside. I believe this is the best start with low budget.
