Default Auto submission to directories

There are many directories which can be tapped for site listing. Do you know of any free auto submission script which can be used for directoy submission instead of doing the submission manually.

I am also look for some for a script of this sort; it should make the directory submission easier and faster than it is at this moment.

I prefer manual submission. Now many directories require to put validation codes to submit site. They are using it to avoid spamming. It's better to make write your site details in text document and when you come across the directories copy paste the stuff.

Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned, but when it comes to submitting I also think manual is the way to go. I think a lot of directories are implementing features to ignore submitter software because they are getting spammed with so many useless sites. I also think certain directories are useless and if they require a recip it's just a waste of time.

Still many opt for the manual submission. No wonder there are directory submission services available online. The idea of auto submission came to my mind having used in the past the built in directory submission of my CPANEL host. I don't know if it is still there.

I have heard that auto submission is not recommended because some directory do not accept this.I do not know why is this so?
Personally I submit my site manually.
