Any thing better than Dmoz, Yahoo directories?

Dmoz is free but it takes time to register the site. Yahoo directory is good but it is paid. Is there any other directories apart from these two which are free and gives equal value to our sites in search engine. Please suggest.

Because Yhaoo directory is paid and Dmoz staff has resigned there no one who can approve your listing.

You should consider other free sites they are also beneficial for your website

I tried to submit to Dmoz 2 years ago with no luck!
So I do not think about it any more!
Yahoo is a good one but their price is too high: 299 USD/year. If it is for a lifetime link then I would pay for it. With that amount of money, you can invest in many sponsored links in good directories.

It is very hard to get approval from dmoz and if you get it then it is more useful for your website ranking.
