Directory submission?

How directory submission is helpful. I know we get backlinks from here but as it take lot of time than is not good to opt profile linking than to go for directory.

Getting links is important either you get these links from directories, social book marking, profile linking is entirely up to you. There are numerous other ways to get links too.

It's important because most of the time you get dofollow links and you can place anchor texts as well.

Directory submission is helpful because it is helpful to stable your website ranking on submitted keywords.Because directories take time for approval so in some time you have been left your link building work but it maintain your keyword ranking by approving earlier submitted links.
So do directory submission work only on quality directories.

it depends if you still believe that quantity matters over quality links. Directory submission though is not yet totally disregarded by Google so I guess you can still do this marketing strategy....It will take too much time and effort though...

Directories submission is very important for website promotion in search engine.
Always submit your websites link in high PR directories.
