Ways to Promote a Directory

Hey there,

I have recently launched a Link Directory and I thought having a high PR attracts people to submit. But till now I have almost no subscribers. Now I doubt, whether there are ways to promote a directory.

What is the current PR of your directory if I may ask? I suggest you market your directory first so as to have a bit of exposure. Directories take time to be successful. Build lots of quality and targeted backlinks first in order to do good in SERP - these quality links will also help in your PR building in the long run ;0

hmm..i never do directory service before
but i saw some people post their directory in forum
offer free regular link submission

Then you are missing out if you haven't submitted to any directory yet.

Always opt to submit your site manually for better results. Some directories regard automated submission as spammy.
