Directory Submitting softwares?
I have used a few directory submitting softwares for my blogs earlier but they hardly seem to work. But since i dont want to spend money on advertising just as yet i would like to know that are there any directory submitters(free) which do work and bring a descent amount of traffic to your site?

Why don't you want to spend money on advertising?, look, just do it trust me its worth it.
Or you can go the free way and get little to nothing in hits, but that is your choise.

Hey
I would suggest you to submit your site manually instead of submitting thru any software. Cause sometimes submission thru software counted as spam.
so watch before purchasing any software.

Jerry

I noticed that some directories nowadays have become more vigilant or alert. In fact there are those that requires you to type a captcha before submission is completed.
If you insist on using a software to automate your submission, I suggest you follow up on the directories where submission was reported to be completed.

I submit manually
Hi
I always submit manually, as I personally don't trust any of the software submitters, and I know exactly where I've been

Still the best way is to submit manually to directories. Surely you can alot atleast 5 submissions daily
In doing so, you get to choose the directory you submit to, vary on the anchor texts and choose the right category for your submission.

digixmas works well, but it is a paid version. They might offer a free version, but with limited features.

You can use roboform to fill out details faster for you. Use any reputed directory list and start submitting yourself.
It's always good to have a starting advertising budget.

I don't know why people use auto submission software. Generally web directories & search engines dont accept the auto sub. It is always recommended to do manual submissions.
Even, if you want to use auto softwares try WebCEO. It provides many search engines, web directories, article directories, keyword research tools and analysis for your site.
Best of Luck!

I agree it's better to submit manually.I had a bad experience with directory software years ago. It was getting all the information screwed up.Then I was getting rejected for all the directories. I did them manually and got excepted.
I don't remember what software I used. Therefore I don't trust directory submitters. Anyways it's easy when you do it in firefox just click and information comes up.
