Default Link Building Minus Paid Directory Inclusion

I am into a small scale business involving trading of Cisco networking equipment. These include switches, routers and firewalls.

I am enthusiastically working on link building. My query is does it make sense to shell out my hard earned money for paid directory inclusion in Business.com, Dir.Yahoo.com, Botw, etc?

I am targeting quite a few keywords and phrases. Also indulging in some of linked article submission, linked blog commenting and some other strategies. There are various sites related to the industry that offer a chance for followed links.

I am seeking the suggestion of seasoned link builders. I need to know whether paid inclusion in these leading directories are absolutely important. Now please do not think of me as some stingy person who is reluctant to spend money. It’s just that paid directories with renewals annually somehow do not go down well with me.

If you are following other SEO 's both on page and off page you can ignore paid directories as of now as in my point of view they are not absolutely necessary. So it wouldn't harm.

I agree with Candiid. You should just forget about directories for now and concentrate more on adding content to your website and submitting article to article directories.

Paid directories aren’t much important in SEO as free directories can also bring good results and they also hold equal value in search engines.

I don't think it is so much useful as inclusion in yahoo directory costs approx $200. This $200 can be invested to hire some expert link builder
